Sheriff’s MPs thought they had enough confirmation that only the suspect was in the car. The windows were tinted and towards the end the suspect blocked the windows with umbrellas and even a laundry basket. An ambulance takes care of the child.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the chase began around 3:30 p.m. after the driver was allegedly involved in a collision with a sheriff’s sergeant outside the LASD Walnut-Diamond Bar Station.

During the pursuit, the driver hit a number of vehicles and MPs attempted at least one PIT maneuver.

After the chase ended at Diamond Bar when the car was obstructed, MPs used beanbag rounds to get a clear view of the vehicle but were unable to break through the tint on the windows.
