Two regional organizations have provided significant support to assist the Safe Children Coalition in presenting their annual conference, held in April each year in recognition of the National Month for the Prevention of Child Abuse. This year’s conference, which will take place from April 29th to 30th, is fully booked with over 500 registered participants. The conference presentation sponsor is the Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center, which provides high quality mental health care and education for children and adolescents suffering from behavioral, emotional, educational, family and social challenges. Gold sponsor is the Suncoast Behavioral Health Center, a private, acute inpatient psychiatric facility that provides high quality services to children, adolescents, adults, and mature adults in a supportive, healing environment. This is Palm Shores’ first year as a conference sponsor and Suncoast’s second year.
