South Boardman man charged with a number of counts of failing to pay little one assist | Information

CADILLAC – A 28-year-old South Boardman man was charged with multiple non-payment of child benefit during his recent trial in the 84th District Court.

David Donald Charles Hill was charged with double non-payment of child benefit for his connection to events occurring on or between May 1, 2016 and January 31, 2017, and on or between May 1, 2019 and January 31, 2020 in Cadillac. The total amount of arrears as of February 3, 2020 was $ 21,147.

If Hill is convicted of either charge, Hill faces up to four years in prison and / or fines of $ 2,000.

The charges in question are only allegations. Hill is considered innocent unless and until found guilty in a court of law. The prosecutor’s office has the burden of proving the guilt beyond any doubt.

The court issued a $ 5,000 cash or surety bond, and a conference was scheduled for February 16 on likely reasons.
