Malik Beasley’s ex-wife wished spousal assist after Larsa Pippen drama

Malik Beasley’s ex-wife, Montana Yao, filed for divorce when the Minnesota Timberwolves star was seen publicly with Larsa Pippen. Yoa has since applied for both spouse’s allowance and child benefit, but has only been granted the latter.

According to a judicial filing by US Weekly, Yao applied to Beasley, with whom she shares a 2-year-old son, for $ 5,000 per month in spousal allowance and $ 8,000 in child benefit. She was denied “Temporary Spouse Alimony,” but was granted $ 6,500 a month in child benefit.

Yao filed for divorce in December, just nine months after she and Beasley married. Submission came shortly after photos showing Beasley Pippen holding hands in public were posted.

Pippen, the 46-year-old ex-wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen, has since found out about the date with the 24-year-old Beasley. She has said the two are no longer dating and was recently seen with someone else.

In addition to Pippen, Beasley may have been with a third woman when he was married to Yao. A series of leaked emails appeared to indicate that he was dating someone else.
