BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – A woman did not speak out in favor of stabbing a man in the parking lot of the Kern County Sheriff’s Office headquarters during a custody change.

Tianna Keeton advocated no competition Monday to attack with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and is due to be convicted on August 9, according to court records.

The custody swap took place between the birth parents at the sheriff’s headquarters on April 18, when Keeton arrived and stabbed the child’s father, sheriff officials said. Keeton’s relationship with the others was not clear.

The father was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, said the MPs.

Keeton was arrested near the parking lot. She was released on bail of $ 50,000.
