EC Be taught introduces new fund to help work with NKY youngsters, households at Horizon Neighborhood Funds

EC Learn (Early Childhood Learning Education Assessment Resource Network) has announced a new opportunity for donors to support their work as a local childcare and placement agency in northern Kentucky. The EC Learn Fund at Horizon Community Funds offers donors the opportunity to support the work of the non-profit organization in the future with an endowed gift or, if necessary, with a non-endowed gift.

“We are excited to support EC Learn in this capacity,” said Nancy Grayson, President of the Horizon Community Funds. “Partnering up with us is a great way for a newer nonprofit like EC Learn to expand their donor base and get their name out there in front of more people. Many thanks to Sandra Woodall and her leadership team for choosing Horizon Community Funds to serve as a fund partner in fulfilling their mission. “

The EC Learn team understands the importance of high quality early childhood learning experiences for all children and their families, as well as the critical role of high quality childcare in boosting the region’s economy. They train and develop early childhood professionals and train families and employers to increase their awareness of early childhood educational resources through a comprehensive approach that builds access and connections to support children, families, providers and workers.

“EC LEARN values the philanthropic partnerships in our community and we are grateful that Horizon Community Funds has supported our mission since our nonprofit was founded in 2020,” said Sandra Woodall, Executive Director of EC LEARN. “We look forward to working with Nancy Grayson and her team and entrusting them to lead our next development and growth steps to further develop our services over the years to come.”
