A CCTV video shows the man’s vehicle parked in front of Raven Sickal’s house with a trailer throwing a pile of coins into the street.

What was intended as a vengeful act to embarrass the mother of his 18-year-old daughter, Avery Sanford, turned positive when mother decided to donate the money to a nonprofit.

Safe Harbor, the organization the money was delivered to, has since received a lot of financial support from people who have seen the story.

This means that the number of contributions increases the more people join the good course.

This marks a first in the decades the organization has funded, according to Mary Maupai, Development Director at Safe Harbor.

“I’ve never seen anything like it. Safe Harbor has never seen anything like it. This is sure to be one for the books,” she said.

She added that her online donation has raised over $ 47,000 (approximately KSh 5 million) to date.

The revelation that Safe Harbor’s waiting list has grown lately means the donations couldn’t have come at a better time.

“I can’t wait to share with Sickal what her good deed has done and just share with her daughter the wonderful blessings she has given people and the tremendous good that has come from it,” added Maupai added.

Sickal admitted that she sobbed after reading about the donations, which made both her and the daughter emotional.

“This range was amazing and the attention and kind gestures exceeded anything we expected. We just wanted to reverse that and that is exactly what we did, ”she concluded.

Well-wishers who have offered contributions have stated that they have joined the generosity of the Sanford family in turning them positively on a toxic act.
