The 90-day fiancé couple Karine Martins and Paul Staehle have welcomed their second child. Karine gave birth to another son, Ethan, on Friday, February 5.

Paul announced the news on Instagram on Friday by posting a 10-minute video of his little boy. Karine was briefly seen in the video resting and recovering after Ethan’s arrival.

“Born healthy and very fast,” Paul signed the Instagram video.

Paul and Karine, who have been married for over three years, are already parents to a son Pierre, who was born in Brazil in March 2019 and will be two years old next month.

In November 2020, Paul and Karine lived in Brazil and Paul announced Ethan’s due date for February 2021.

“Karine’s green card was stolen and the embassy is closed because of COVID-19. So we will be here indefinitely until we can get her a boarding slide, hopefully before her green card expires,” Paul said on Instagram at the time. “It is very likely that Ethan will be born in Brazil.”

Paul also suggested that he and Karine would be in a better place financially, or at least on their way to greater safety.

“Karine inherited a farm in Tonantins. Hopefully we’ll be able to grow something and turn it into a working farm. Most of my income comes from the internet while I’m in Brazil,” said Paul.

At the time, he added, “Karine’s family was God sent to help me with Karine.”

Paul briefed fans of his whereabouts after he reunited with Karine after a turbulent and dramatic summer in which they split and both filed injunctions against each other – but later dropped them.

After getting married in the fall of 2017, Karine threatened to divorce Paul almost a few times, but the couple reached a breaking point in July 2020 when both accused each other of assault and abuse and filed emergency orders after an explosive argument involving the police .

However, speculation surfaced in late September. Paul and Karine may have reunited after the couple dismissed three protection warrants against each other on Sept. 16, Us Weekly reported.

However, Paul and Karine did not attend the Tell-All-Special for the fifth season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, which aired in early October 2020, because the event was filmed before Karine and Paul apparently had the hatchet and buried their protection orders fall against each other.

Paul from Louisville, KY, and Karine from Tonantins, Brazil first appeared on seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, followed by season 1 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way and the latest edition of 90 Day Fiance: Happy for the rest of your life ?.

When Paul and Karine had their explosive fight last July, Paul said he wanted to seek custody of Pierre after Karine allegedly cheated on him and violated a child protection case against her.

Paul also claimed Karine was “missing” with Pierre while he was being treated in the hospital for a sexually transmitted disease. He appeared to be accusing Karine of the alleged sexually transmitted disease for allegedly cheating on him after she arrived in Kentucky.

The fight between Paul and Karine led to the two filing injunctions against each other.

“I found glass in my food before,” Paul claimed in court documents we received. “I found similar shards of glass from an object that she broke.”

Paul also claimed that Karine’s friends called him with death threats and allowed Karine Pierre to “run on the street” [and] go to the chemical cabinets. ”

“I fear for the safety and spiritual well-being of my wife. I fear for the safety of my son,” Paul concluded.

And Karine publicly confirmed in early August 2020 that she had left Paul and received an emergency protection order against him.

Karine said she was never “missing” but had to be “saved from an environment” that was no longer healthy for her and her child. She added on Instagram, “Relationships are difficult and sometimes they just can’t be fixed.”

Karine’s warrant contained a number of shocking allegations – including that Paul had physically assaulted her, sexually assaulted her, monitored her phone, and prevented her doctor from prescribing her birth control.

In the emergency protection order Paul shared on social media, Karine alleged that Paul “violently raped” and “detained” me[s] my green card and all my documents. ”

“In the past 3 weeks, the respondent pushed me and grabbed my chest several times[ee]zing and twisting, hurting me, pressing myself to the ground, covering my mouth. He forces his penis into my mouth and violently rapes me. If I refuse, he throws things, screams or threatens[ens] to call the police, “wrote Karine in the handwritten two-page application.

Karine wrote, among other things, that Paul threatened to take Pierre with him if she wanted to leave and forced her to drink alcohol during pregnancy so that she could calm down.

Karine continued, with the help of a voice translator, “He’s on social media all the time, making videos of me against my will saying I’m crazy and have a mental illness. He called recently [Child Protective Services] and told [them] I was always drunk, aggressive, and abusive towards him. ”

“He posts on social media [that] I have [cheated with] several [men] even knowing him [has] Cameras around the house and I can’t go I don’t have access to money for my son or myself. ”

According to her application, Karine said she was “scared”. Paul and his mother Mary could hurt her or her son, regardless of whether she flew back to Brazil with Pierre.

Paul went to his Instagram Stories on Aug. 10 to shoot down the claims Karine had made in her protection order.

“It really is [sic] breaks my heart, it happened. I leaned backwards. I found work. Have a new home. A new car. Let her buy what she wanted. I cooked, cleaned, washed and looked after Pierre, “Paul wrote in his Instagram stories.

“I’ve never assaulted anyone physically or sexually in my life.”

Paul said he was trying to provide “mental aid” to Karine and had to “double up” his own therapy sessions to “deal with” the “madness” of his relationship.

“Your motion against me with false accusations concerns a three-year injunction against me and my two children. Child support and maintenance. But I cannot see them or my children at all,” said Paul.

Paul then took a social media hiatus in August 2020 but returned after three weeks of silence to find he was in Brazil cleaning and organizing his house while Karine was in Indiana.

“My life revolved around her. I haven’t seen my son since July … I won’t see my sons for a very long time,” said Paul.

“So I’m busy and constructive. Karine is not in Brazil. I knew that when I traveled here. Now my mother has a nervous breakdown because she is also forbidden to see Pierre. I lost my sons.”

Paul confirmed that Karine was pregnant with a boy at the time, because he wrote “Sons” several times and also remarked: “I have to accept that I will probably never see my wife and son again. Or see the birth or ever mine See the unborn. ” Child.”

90 Day Fiancé: Fortunately until the end? Season five ended with Paul and Karine agreeing to go on a trip to Brazil together so Karine could visit her family.

Karine said her relationship with Paul is under a lot of pressure in the US and a trip to Brazil would be good for their relationship.

Karine noted at the time that she would “consider” returning to America after spending some time in Brazil, but Paul feared that Karine would never want to return to the US with him.
