6-year-old protected, suspect in custody

KBI reports that local intelligence led law enforcement to a residence in Fall River, Kansas. The child has been safely located and the suspect is on remand. The authorities did not provide any further details.

NEOSHO COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has issued an Amber Alert for 6 year old Nina R. Senkbeil.

She is described as six feet tall and was last seen in Santa Fe Park in Chanute.

At around 10:30 am, Nina Senkbeil was picked up by her father from Santa Fe Park in Chanute, KS. She was on a supervised round with her father when they disappeared in an unknown direction.

At 12:15 p.m., Jacob Senkbeil and Nina Senkbeil were spotted at 17515 Oak Wood Lane in Fall River, Kansas, where the father was commenting on a witness who is now leading law enforcement to believe the child is in imminent danger.

The suspect was driving the child in an unknown direction in a black 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee KS with license plate 852FGX.

Just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, the KBI reported that police were searching the Fall River area but had not yet located the suspect or the child. It is currently unknown whether they will remain in this area or have relocated. Please keep on watching and reporting suspicious activity.
