5 Suspects Taken Into Custody On Intercourse Trafficking Costs

Five suspects were arrested on March 18 after a joint stab operation.

The focus of the sting was on identifying and arresting suspected users of child sex crimes, said Marquette County Attorney Matt Weise.

The operation was conducted by the Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force, members of the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.

The five suspects are charged in Marquette County. They are:

  • Robert Jay Miller, 42, from Negaunee
  • America Rackem Stevens, 48, from Scandia
  • Alan Brian Schwalbach, 64, from Vulcan
  • Keith David Johnson, 50 years old, from Au Train
  • Chad Michael Anderson, 32, of Gwinn

The five men are charged with child sexual abuse, using a computer to commit child sexual abuse, targeting a child for immoral purposes, and using a computer to target a child for immoral purposes.
