During an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked the MTV star, “Do you think Luke would somehow want to legally adopt Zay?”
The 22-year-old replied: “We will cover this topic in the new season.”
Kayla and Luke already share daughter Ariah, who they welcomed in August 2019.
The couple moved from Illinois to Iowa for Luke’s basketball career.

Kayla and her family will return to the small screen for season three of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant, which began filming in September.
However, fans can also watch Kayla touch her first baby daddy Stephan, with whom she shares her oldest child, Izaiah, three.
Kayla previously accused Stephan of not having checked in with her son, but of having an “SMS production” for payment at MTV.

A month later, Stephan was ordered to pay $ 124 per month for temporary child support. However, in April of that year the amount was adjusted to $ 40 per month through June 2036.
Both Kayla and Stephan reported their monthly income at $ 751. Stephan listed MTV – New Remote Productions as his employer.
