NEW YORK (AP) – The Walt Disney Co. streaming plans got going on Thursday with the unveiling of new streaming offerings from a galaxy, including plans for 10 spin-offs from the “Star Wars” series and 10 Marvel series the to be released for the first time Disney +.

In a virtual presentation for investors, Disney CEO Bob Chapek set out great ambitions for direct contact with consumers, relying heavily on some of the company’s biggest brands. In the next few years, Disney is planning a premiere directly on Disney +, not just an armada of “Star Wars” and Marvel series, but 15 live-action, Pixar and animation series as well as 15 live-action, Pixar and animation films .
