According to a press release, Sherri Sellars received the NC Child Support 2020 Employee of the Year Award from the NC Child Support Council.

Sellars is a supervisor with the Brunswick County Child Support Team and joined the agency in 2016.

Cathy Lytch, Brunswick County’s Director of Social Services and Public Housing, said, “Sellars is characterized by a wealth of knowledge, commitment to the program, and the ability and flexibility to think outside the box to help the agency meet their needs Achieving goals, “says the press release.

Sellars has worked to build relationships, implement new programs and make changes that have helped many families in Brunswick County, the news release said.

“Every day we are grateful that Sherri has decided to join the Brunswick County team and that we have the opportunity to work with her,” Lytch said in the press release. “Without your knowledge, dedication and support, I don’t think the Brunswick County Child Support Program would be as advanced as it is today.”
