Long Island is wanted to find a suspected dead father after siphoning off thousands of dollars in child support over several years.

The Suffolk County Sheriff issued a warning while trying to track down 51-year-old Adam J. Michaels, wanted by Suffolk County Family Court for failing to pay about $ 82,000 in child support to a former spouse .

The sheriff described Michaels as six feet tall, weighed about 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address was in New York City.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, an arrest warrant for Michaels was issued on Tuesday, July 27th.
