Scholar Help Providers – For Mother and father & College students
Welcome to the DLMS Student Aid!
Our task: The role of the Student Care Department at Duncan Lake Middle School is to provide a continuum of support services that are beneficial to the development of the entire child through school, family and community.
Our team:
SCHOOL ADVISOR
Bari Kane: surnames ending with A-Li. kick off
Andrew Fitzpatrick: Last names beginning with Lf-Z
School counseling is available to all students in our school. Advisors are available for academic and personal matters. Each counselor is fully certified and trained with at least a Masters degree in Professional School Counseling. To see an advisor, a student can fill out this request form or email their advisor.
In addition, a student can be referred by a staff member to a school counselor for academic or socio-emotional support. School counseling is short-term, and if there is any indication that more intensive counseling would be helpful, the school counselor can provide external resources to families when the family makes use of this option.
SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS

ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Academic support is available to students who demonstrate a need in the classroom and through our school-wide NWEA tests. If you think your child would benefit from additional support, please contact their teacher or counselor to determine the next steps.
