Kelly Clarkson was granted primary custody of her two children, according to People magazine.

Her ex-husband, music manager Brandon Blackstock, is asking for $ 436,000 a month for spouse and child benefits, People said, citing an anonymous source. That would be $ 301,000 for him and $ 135,000 for the kids.

He is also filing for $ 2 million in legal fees.

Clarkson filed for divorce in June after seven years of marriage.

Blackstock lives primarily in Montana while Clarkson works in Los Angeles, where she records her talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” which airs on WSB TV at 10am on weekdays.

Clarkson has not spoken in detail about what happened between her and Blackstock. When her show returned for season two in September, she gave her fans a brief statement:

“I definitely didn’t see anything coming, but I’m having a hard time – it’s about more than just my heart, it’s about lots of little hearts,” she said. “We know it is best to protect our children and their little hearts. So I’m usually very open and usually talk about anything, but in this case I’ll talk a little here and there about how it affects me personally but probably not going too far because I’m, ‘I’m a bear and my kids stand out first of all. “

Carrie Underwood, whose Christmas special will be available on December 3 on HBO Max, revealed in a first-person essay in Guideposts that she almost didn’t get into season four of Hollywood to take part in American Idol.

The Oklahoma native had never flown on an airplane before. She had a great moment of terror when her parents drove her to the airport.

“I realized I had forgotten about the lip liner,” she wrote. “We stopped at a grocery store and mom ran in to buy something. Suddenly it was just too much. I go to Los Angeles alone and compete with all the other people who were so talented. I burst into tears. “

“My father turned to me in the back seat. “Carrie,” he said, “we can go home now and never have to talk about it again,” she went on. “I took a deep breath.” No, “I finally said. ‘I’ll go.'”

“American Idol” will return for its 19th and fourth seasons on ABC on February 14, 2021. That’s roughly the same time as a year ago, so the number of episodes will be roughly the same. Last year “Idol” ran 16 episodes. In the show’s prime, Fox would air at least 30. Season 3 consisted of 44!

Season three winner Fantasia is pregnant with husband Kendall Taylor.

They announced the news during an Instagram Live last week while Fantasia, 36, was talking about fertility issues. She referred to a Bible story about Rachel and then showed her baby bump.

Kendall kissed his wife’s stomach and said, “Listen to me, a little Taylor baby on the way down these streets.”

Fantasia has children from previous relationships: Dallas Xavier, 8, and Zion Quari, 19.
