UPDATE: Officials say Shaffer was taken into custody near Luther in Lincoln County.

LUTHER, Okla. (KFOR) – Lutheran authorities are urging the public to keep an eye out for a man who is wanted in connection with a murder.

Luther Police Department officials say Terry Shaffer is wanted in connection with a murder that took place outside of Jones on Monday night.

Investigators allege Shaffer was involved in a domestic argument and murder on the 13,000 block on N. Henney Road.

Witnesses told police that Shaffer was very upset and said he injured someone in a trailer before escaping the scene.

When the officers got to the trailer, they found the body of a woman inside.

Officials say the truck Shaffer was last seen in was found abandoned in Lincoln County. He is considered armed and dangerous.

When you see him, you will be asked to call 911 immediately.
