Reddit consumer divides web over unbelievable plan to keep away from paying baby assist

A man shared social media after revealing his incredible plan not to pay child support.

The husband claims he was forced to take the drastic steps after learning about his wife’s dark secret.

The man told Reddit that he was happily married to his ex-wife for 12 years.

However, their marriage collapsed when the husband – who is from the United States – discovered that their daughter was not his.

Despite the reveal, a court ordered that he still had to pay $ 700 a month in child support for raising the child for many years.

Then, he claims, he came up with his controversial plan to look broke so he wouldn’t have to pay his ex-wife any money.

“I was married to my ex for 12 years,” he said.

“I thought we were having a great relationship, but that turned out to be a lie when I found out our kid wasn’t really my kid. The kid was a little under a year old when I found out.

“The little girl was diagnosed with a hereditary disease that neither my wife nor I had. After a genetic test, I was told I was not the father.

“I left her almost immediately, wishing her all the best in life and hoping that her daughter would be fine.

Ordered for payment

“At the beginning of the divorce, I was served a subpoena for alimony.

“My attorney told me not to be shocked if someone asked me to pay because I acted as a father for quite a while.

“In short, the real father was not found and I had to pay. She smiled pretty big after the hearing and I was admittedly annoyed, so I told her I would send her a check before the garnishment started.

“I wanted to fight, but I wasn’t worried. I had a good backup plan. “

Then the man said he had put his idea into practice.

“I liquidated my entire fortune pretty quickly,” he said.

“I’ve lost some things, but hey, I’m still young. I called my parents and they got my room ready and I moved home to my home country.

“I sent my ex a picture of me smiling home and said good luck. I received a couple of calls and a letter regarding support, but they are blocked or thrown in the trash.

“I do not think so [in the wrong] Here. I haven’t cheated and she’s not my kid.

“Some people argue about the bond, but I can’t say I had a strong one considering I was ready to leave when I heard what was going on.”

The man’s story received conflicting responses on Reddit. Many slammed the man and said the child was suffering.

“I feel for the child who is not only sick, but has now lost the only father she has ever known,” said one.

“The fact that you can walk away so easily probably means that she will be better without you. Both you and your ex are terrible people. “

Another added: “I am sorry for the child. She deserves better. “

But many others said the woman was the bad guy in this situation.

“Good for you”

“She knew damn well that the child was not yours and still had the audacity to go to court for child support,” said another.

“It’s good that you left everything behind. She made her bed with her actions and lies, she can lie in it now

“You are in no way obliged to pay for a child who is not yours. I doubt anyone in your position would have stayed here.”

Another said, “Don’t let this person catch you for 17 years. In my opinion you have no moral obligation to that kid or mother, dammit. “
