VICTORIA, Texas – The Victoria Police Department said a person with two confirmed arrest warrants for ongoing sexual abuse of young children or children was stopped in a vehicle in a store parking lot Friday afternoon.

Police said a person was taken into custody after officers committed a crime in block 2100 of the Houston Highway.

The U.S. Marshals Service supported the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, police said.
