“I firmly believe in our agency’s mission to ensure our community’s children have the support they need and deserve,” said Ellison. “I am delighted to start as the new Assistant Director and I appreciate the confidence that Tim Dick (Director of Clermont County Labor and Family Services) and the Commissioners have shown in me in the position promote. “

Dick cited Ellison’s education, leadership, and behavior as key attributes. He found the department raises $ 36 million annually for 46,000 people.

Ellison has worked for Clermont County for nearly 27 years. She began my career in 1994 as a Child Support Enforcement attorney. She was hired by Judge Voris as a judge for the Internal Relations Court in 1995 and remained in that position until she returned in 1997 as Senior Attorney for the Child Benefit Department.

Long-time director Brenda Gilreath announced her resignation last month, effective January 1st. She was with Clermont County Child Support for 35 years.
