A man wanted on two child molestation cases is being held in Cape Girardeau County Jail.

Richard Ozment, 33, of Cape Girardeau was admitted to prison Tuesday after being arrested in St. Louis and held in the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office. Cape Girardeau County Attorney Mark Welker issued an arrest warrant for Ozment on February 9.

Ozment allegedly made inappropriate contact with a girl under the age of 12 and is charged with two Class B crimes of second degree child abuse.

Ozment is being held in Cape Girardeau County Jail for cash only instead of a $ 50,000 bond. His first indictment is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Friday before Judge Gary Kamp.
