My husband had little one assist taken out of his account for a child who isn’t his
“My husband is getting child support payments taken out of his bank account for a kid who isn’t even his!”
Rosa’s husband received quite the shock when he opened his mail to be told he owed child support.
Not only had he never heard of the child – but his supposed offspring was born when he was only a kid himself.
“When your husband gets a letter in the mail saying that money will be taken out of his pay cheque to pay child support,” Rosa claims in the viral TikTok video.
“Only to see the child was born in 07 and your husband was 10 at the time. Wrong baby daddy.”

The letter stated that the monthly payments, which had already started to come out of his account before even receiving the letter, were $USD600 – the equivalent of more than $AUD800.
Naturally, commenters had all the questions, so Rosa made another two video to explain how on earth this all happened.
“The lady lives in Texas with her son, and the only reason why the letter got sent to him was because the baby daddy doesn’t have a social (social security number),” she began.
“So because they had the matching name, they were automatically like ‘oh yeah that’s the baby daddy’.
The response from the agency was very blasé and bizarre.
“They told my husband that the guy’s no longer here in the country so there’s no way to find him.”

“The child support office will refund it back after sending my husband’s ID”
So Rosie’s perturbed partner called his lawyer for help – and the agency became even more nonchalant about the major debacle.
“They said to send his ID and he showed proof of his birth date and they told him ‘okay, well the money is already taken out, you’re going to have to wait for us to refund it’.”
Her husband had no received one single notification until the letter stating how they had started taking from his account on a monthly basis.
“The child support office in Texas is going to receive it and then when they do, they will refund it back,” she said.
“I mean that’s all they are going to do. We just have to wait for the refund now – we just don’t know how long it’s going to take… I think they told us six to eight weeks.”

She then went on to defend those who accused her hubby of trying to shirk responsibility of financially supporting his child.
“To the people saying he should pay child support to his kid and he could still have a kid at ten years old, like no,” she insisted.
“The lady who is the mother of the child had a kid in 2007 – my husband was ten years old and she was 35, so there is no way that my husband at ten years old was with a 35-year-old, it just doesn’t add up.
“It’s not his kid, we just find it funny – the only reason was because he had the same name.
“Also to add, to the people who were saying oh they usually give you a letter saying he needs to take a DNA test, he literally received no mail whatsoever.”

Other men charged child support for kids who aren’t theirs
Some people could not even begin to comprehend how such a massive mishap could even happen.
“How do they do this without verifying it’s him, that’s the real issue?” one questioned.
“How do you just steal someone’s money without verification?” another incredulously asked.
While others had experienced similar insane ordeals.
“This happened to my husband!! He apparently owed $60,000 of child support! When the 1st child was born my husband was 7 yrs old and in Mexico!! Smh,” one exclaimed.
“Lmao that happened to my brother, it was the funniest thing ever because the kid was born when he was 3,” another laughed.
