Meet Larry: A Witty, Enjoyable-Loving Youth

Meet Larry, a light-hearted, funny, and smart 11 year old with a great sense of humor. Katie, his child-specific recruiter, says, “Larry is super funny and so fun to see that the more you get to know him, the more that comes out. He really has a great sense of humor and is known to be a bit of a joke and a jerk. “

As a sixth grader, Larry loves hanging out with friends and playing basketball and soccer. At school, his favorite subjects are science, math, and any kind of STEM activity. He has a natural curiosity about the world around him and is particularly fascinated by skyscrapers. In fact, he can name all of the tallest skyscrapers in the world and tell you where they are and interesting facts about them. “Since most of the tallest skyscrapers in the world are in Dubai, Larry told me that it was on his bucket list to visit one day,” says Katie. Larry loves to talk about places he wants to travel, his brothers and new things that are going on in the world and in his life.

When Katie thinks of Larry’s future family, she says, “He needs a family that will advance his interests, give him lots of love and attention, and appreciate his humor and wit.” He would do best in a two-parent family with no others Make children where he can get a lot of adult attention. He has also expressed that he would like to be part of a family that likes to travel and vacation together.

Due to some behavioral disorders, it is very important that Larry is part of a family that supports him and guides him through the ups and downs of life with empathy and compassion. It will be very important to help him overcome these challenges and find the right resources to support his mental and emotional wellbeing.

With the right family, full of love and empathy, Larry’s future is bright. “He’s really a great kid,” says Katie, “and he’s super easy to get along with. He does really well in a stable environment and thrives if he gets the love and attention he deserves. “
