TEXARKANA, Texas – A Texarkana man is being held in Bowie County Jail on $ 600,000 bail for alleged sexual abuse of four young girls.

Jorge Tomas Pina, 42, was arrested on March 25 for constant sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, aggravated sexual assault on a child and two cases of indecency with a child through sexual contact. Each of the four charges concern a different alleged victim.

All four girls Pina is accused of abuse are related to him and are currently between 13 and 16 years old. According to reports, one of the alleged victims told a forensic interviewer at the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center that she first remembered Pina sexually touching her when she was around 3. Another girl claims that Pina was with her at the age of 5 years was inappropriate.

One of the alleged victims reportedly described it being in the room while Pina was molesting one of the other girls.

The bail for each of the four offenses is set at $ 150,000.

The most serious charges against Pina are the ongoing sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14. If Pina is convicted of this crime, he faces 25 to 99 years or life in prison, and is not eligible for parole.

Pina faces two to 20 years on each of the other three charges if found guilty.

Dallas attorney Mitchell Dooley released a notice of the case on Friday. The case was assigned to 102nd District Judge Jeff Addison.
