Lamar Odom ripped by decide for not making little one assist funds

Lamar Odom has had a lot of problems since ending his NBA career eight years ago and we can now add child support failure to the list.

Odom was sued last month by his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, who says the former Los Angeles Laker has not paid child support in a year. The two reached a settlement agreement in 2015, and Morales says Odom has broken it since June 2020. As a result, she says she is well behind on the rent and that an eviction lawsuit has been initiated against her.

According to Morales, Odom owes nearly $ 83,000 for rent on the Lower Manhattan apartment where she lives with her and Lamar’s two children, according to Page Six. Morales attorney Abraham Borenstein says Odom also owes more than $ 90,000 in child support payments. Morales said in court Tuesday that Odom didn’t give her any money despite recently making $ 40,000 in his celebrity boxing match with Aaron Carter.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper encouraged Morales to file a judgment for signature.

“If Mr. Odom is in good shape to participate in a boxing match, he is certainly in good shape to meet his obligations to support his children under the settlement agreement,” said Cooper.

Morales claims Odom also owes her $ 24,000 in tuition and room and board for her children. She says he emptied bank accounts of over $ 68,000 each that were used for college tuition. Morales added that between his NBA retirement, boxing match and other things he does with his brand, Odom “definitely makes income”.

“I just want to note that if Mr. Odom wants a brand that means something, it should be one where the person behind the brand pays to support his children and doesn’t put his children at risk of displacement.” said Cooper.

Odom defeated Carter earlier this month in an ugly “fight” that was actually more of a freak show. It’s unclear how much income the 41-year-old currently has, but even agreeing to the bizarre fight left him desperate for money.
