NATCHITOCHES, La. – A woman was arrested for drug offenses at a traffic stop in Natchitoches. Her 2-year-old, who was present at the time, was meanwhile placed in the care of a relative.

Haylie Humphries, 24, faces a list of charges including possession of CDS II (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice, illegal window tinting, driving under lockdown, and CDS in the presence of an adolescent.

Authorities at the Natchitoches Sheriff’s Office say she was pulled over Thursday night for a window tint violation in Block 500 of Highway 3191.


When the vehicle was searched, officers found 1.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

Humphries was taken to the Natchitoches Township Detention Center.
