Lady in Custody After Baby, 6, Fatally Stabbed, One other Harm – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Price

A 6-year-old child is dead and another teenager is injured after an adult stabbed her to death in Dallas on Thursday, police say.

Officials were called shortly before 2:00 p.m. to stab an apartment on the 2900 block of Frazier Street, southeast of Fair Park.

A woman who lived in the residence said she ran to a neighbor for help in arresting the woman and they were able to hold her.

The neighbor then took the injured 6-year-old girl to a nearby fire station. The paramedics from the Dallas Fire Rescue took her to a hospital, where she died, the police said.

The teenage boy, whose age is not yet known, has also been hospitalized and is said to be in stable condition.

Dallas Police are investigating the fatal knife stab of a 6-year-old girl on June 17, 2021.

The woman believed to have stabbed the children is on remand and is being questioned by police.

Further details have not been confirmed by the police and investigators have given no motive or reason for the attacks.

The investigation into the stabbing continues, the police said.
