Lacking Bessemer teen discovered protected in Indiana, man in custody
BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – UPDATE: A missing 16-year-old from Bessemer has been found safe and unharmed in Indiana. Bessemer Police say a man is in custody in connection with this case.
Police are working to get the teen back to her family.
State officials are asking for the public’s help after an Emergency Missing Child alert was issued for a 16-year-old girl out of Bessemer.
She was last seen around 7:00 am on April 11 when she left for school.
She may be traveling in an unknown vehicle with a 32-year-old male.
Anyone with information about her disappearance is aske to contact the Bessemer Police Department at 205-425-2411 or call 911.
