Lacking 3-year-old Kansas Metropolis woman discovered secure, mom in custody for little one endangerment | KCTV5 Information This Morning

UPDATE: Noriyah has been found and she is safe. At about 11:15 a.m., police were told she was in a Kansas City residence and was unharmed. Investigations are currently underway into child risk. The mother is currently on remand, police said.

The police assume that the public prosecutor’s office will be presented with a file to review the applicable fees.

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – The police need your help locate a 3 year old girl.

Noriyah King went missing near her home on 38th Street and Highland Avenue around 7 p.m. Thursday. She was last seen wearing an orange or pink coat.

The police continue to speak to her mother for more information.

Kansas City police say this case does not currently qualify for an Amber Alert.

“That does not mean that we do not investigate and search to the fullest extent possible,” police said in a written statement to KCTV5 News.

The Kansas City Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office thoroughly searched the house and the surrounding area with people, police dogs, and drones.
