Inside Stevie J & Joseline’s Custody Battle

In 2019, Bossip reported that after Stevie J was granted provisional custody of Bonnie Bella, he did not have to pay child support to Joseline Hernandez. The Georgia courts also appointed Cherese Clark-Wilson as Bonnie’s guardian ad litem to determine what was in her best interests. Stevie J and Joseline were also ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to determine their suitability as parents, and the cost of Clark-Wilson’s services – $ 3,500 – should be shared equally between the two.

According to court documents (via Hot New Hip Hop), the custody battle started when Stevie J accused Joseline of keeping Bonnie Bella away from him. “The petitioner is not aware of the safety of the minor child or his current state of health due to such bans imposed by the defendant,” his lawyers wrote at the time.

But, according to The Blast, soon after Stevie J was granted temporary custody of Bonnie Bella, Joseline regained her primary custody. Now the couple seem to share custody of the little girl, and they both share adorable photos of her on Instagram.
