ADA COUNTY, Idaho – An Idaho Amber Alert was canceled after a one-year-old boy was found safe.

According to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, one-year-old legend Nico Garza-Cota has been brought to safety in Draper, Utah, and the boy’s mother is in custody.

Marisol Garza, 39, was arrested in Idaho on an arrest warrant and the boy was placed under the care of Utah’s Child Protection Services.

The Sheriff’s Office thanked the Draper Police and the U.S. Marshals for their assistance in finding Garza.

According to an ACSO press release, Garza announced on Facebook that she would be leaving Idaho with Legend, who is believed to have been in the custody of the Idaho state after Garza was declared in immediate danger earlier this month.
