“I need to be a helper,” 9-year-old in DHS custody goals of serving to children identical to him discover a place to name dwelling

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Micheal is a hardworking young man hoping to have three jobs in adulthood, including working for the DHS.

Micheal may be young, but his DHS staff say he is constantly trying to help them with their jobs.

In fact, this is only one of three careers this hardworking kid with a heart of gold would like to take on.

Micheal says he would also like to become a dentist and work for an animal rescue service.

At the Bella Foundation, Michael quickly made friends with the loving pets.

His favorites are the cats and he would love to have one of his own to take care of.

“I’d help them calm down and I’ll just get them the cat litter, clean up after them,” Micheal said.

It’s a lot of work, but it’s not bad for a man who wants three jobs.

Micheal’s DHS employees say he’s already trying to take their job – and always helping.

“They don’t work,” Micheal told News 4. “I work there.”

He says he knows what a day in their life is like.

“They do business, work, have breakfast, have lunch, and go home,” Micheal said.

He says this goal is important to him.

“Because I want to be a helper,” said Micheal.

He hopes to help kids find a place to call home – just like he dreams of having a day.

“A mother, a father and children,” said Micheal. “And a dog – a small, tiny little one.”

Your best attempt at adopting a child is to start the process. It can take a few months for approval to be granted. For full details, contact the DHS hotline at 1-800-376-9729 or visit online.
