Help our College students giving again to different with annual Undertake a Baby/Senior for Christmas occasion

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – Support Our students are hosting Adopt a Child / Senior for Christmas. The event is designed to give gifts to 1,100 Laramie County students and 300 seniors.

“We know it’s a challenge, we know it’s a big challenge for people because everyone has problems,” said Corey Loghry, co-owner of Lynn Buys Houses. “I am still confident that everyone will come together and serve all of these fourteen hundred people.”

This is the seventh annual Adopt a Child / Senior for Christmas event. The children are identified by teachers and social workers at Laramie County School as the children in greatest need. The seniors are part of the Senior Companions program who want to stay in their home. Since March 2020, they are mainly home-bound. “People are so passionate about giving and so happy to give,” said Loghry. “It really is a fantastic day when people come together for the benefit of eleven hundred children and three hundred seniors.”

The event takes place on Saturday, December 12th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Storey Gym.
