36-year-old choreographer So You Think You Can Dance filed documents with a Los Angeles courthouse on Tuesday, December 22, seeking the dissolution of their marriage to underage children. Samodanova also filed a request for mediation regarding custody, visit and alimony. The estranged couple shares daughters Olivia (10) and Zlata (3).

Court documents received from Us Weekly state that “The court is instructing both parties to participate in mediation to discuss custody and / or the visit” and to create “a consensual plan for parenting.” A hearing is planned for March 2021.

Samodanova and Savchenko, 37, announced in November that they would go their separate ways after 14 years of marriage. At the time, Dancing With the Stars fans wondered if Savchenko was friends with more than just the season 29 partner Chrishell reservoir.
