Girl who sued Speaker Lusaka for Ksh.25M little one assist withdraws case

The woman who sued Senate spokesman Kenneth Lusaka for support for her unborn child has withdrawn the case.

This happens after the parties have decided, after extensive deliberations, to settle the matter out of court.

“Note that the applicant has completely withdrawn the entire lawsuit from June 15, 2021, including all requests for attendance,” says the court order.

About the lawyer Danstan Omari, the woman says that she does not charge any costs for the case she has submitted.

The declaration of resignation is dated August 20th of this year.

The woman had gone to court and was looking Ksh 200,000 per month to support their unborn child or a lump sum of Ksh 25 million if Lusaka is unable to meet his monthly obligations of Ksh 200,000.

She claimed that as the father of the unborn child, Lusaka refused to fulfill his obligation to support her by caring for her and the unborn child.

Lusaka did not question paternity or submit any documents in response to the petition.
