LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – One woman is now in custody after a SWAT team was called to 98th and Topeka on Friday afternoon.

Police arrived around 1:30 p.m.

Police were initially called to a domestic dispute, a report of an armed woman with children in the house. SWAT responded and police negotiators made contact with the woman inside.

The children were removed from the house and 44-year-old Sarah Durrett surrendered to police around 5 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Durrett was charged with aggravated assault and two counts of endangering a child. She is currently in the Lubbock County Detention Center.
