Girl arrested after allegedly stabbing man throughout youngster custody trade exterior KCSO headquarters

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – A woman was arrested early this morning for allegedly stabbing a man during a custody swap in the parking lot of the Kern County Sheriff’s Headquarters.

The Sheriff’s Office announced at around 12:07 pm that the exchange was currently being carried out between the child’s birth parents at headquarters at 1350 Norris Road when a third party arrived.

The department said 21-year-old Tianna Keeton stabbed the child’s father, after which she was arrested by MPs a short distance from the parking lot.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries, KCSO said. No one was injured in the incident.

Keeton was arrested and sent to Kern County Prison on suspicion of a lethal weapon attack and willful cruelty to a child.
