Gibson County capturing leaves one useless, individual of excited about custody

OAKLAND CITY, Ind. – Indiana State Police are investigating a Gibson County shooting that resulted in the death of one person on Saturday.

ISP spokesman Sgt. Todd Ringle said the police received a call about 5:12 p.m. about the shooting at the 400 block on South Walnut Street in Oakland City.

The police have a suspect in custody and the coroner is on site. Ringle said they are speaking to people who were in the area at the time of the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.

They do not publish any information about the deceased.
