‘Full Home’ Star Nonetheless Embroiled in Tense Baby Assist Battle

Full house star Jodie Sweetin recently filed a motion to lower child support payments, but her ex-husband Morty Coyle claims she makes enough to keep the payments going. Sweetin, 39, and Coyle were married from 2012 to 2016 and are parents to daughter Beatrix, 10. In December 2017, Sweetin was asked to pay $ 2,800 a month. The former couple share custody of their daughter.

Sweetin moved to lower child support payments, arguing that her income fell during the pandemic, noting that Fuller House ended last year. However, Coyle insists that Sweetin has made enough money since continuing to work as an actress, reports TMZ. He claims Sweetin made at least $ 200,000 in 2020.

In his motion, Coyle claims that Sweetin does not accurately describe her financial situation. It’s not true that she doesn’t have “foreseeable work,” according to Coyle. He pointed out that Sweeting receives an income from Cameo and is shooting a show in New York while looking after Beatrix. Coyle claims he has had tough times financially because of the pandemic. He’s a DJ, but he’s dependent on unemployment benefits. Any cut in child support for Sweetin’s children would have “negative effects” on their child, Coyle claims.

Sweetin has been offering personalized videos for fans on Cameo, although it won’t be available as of this weekend. The actress recently played Stephanie Tanner on Netflix’s Full House sequel, Fuller House, which ended in June 2020. She recently announced Elizabeth Blake-Thomas’ Will You Be My Quarantine? filmed in which she plays a woman who goes out during the pandemic. It is expected to be released later this year.

Sweetin’s row over child support dates back to 2017, a year after she and Coyle divorced. In November 2017, Coyle claimed Sweetin made $ 700,000 a year, but in her court records, Sweetin claimed she made just over $ 437,349 in adjusted gross income in 2016, according to support. Sweetin and Coyle split in 2013, but their divorce wasn’t finalized until August 2016.

Sweetin also shares daughter Zoie, 13, with ex-husband Cody Herpin. In an interview with Today in January 2019, Sweetin said she makes sure her daughters understand that social media doesn’t always reflect reality. “With the advent of social media, I think it’s even harder because you’re a kid,” Sweetin said at the time. “You will do stupid things. You will post stupid things. You will do stupid things. And now all the attention is on how so many young people are perfect and looking good … It’s’ a lot of pressure.”

Sweetin doesn’t often share photos of her daughters on Instagram, but she did share one on June 11 to celebrate Beatrix graduating from elementary school. “Bea graduated from elementary school today,” wrote Sweetin at the time. Given the past year, it was a special day to see them together in person and celebrate all of their hard work! I was SO PROUD !! And I MAY have shed a tear or two. May be. Possibly. Certainly.”
