Driver arrested after license suspended on account of failure to pay youngster assist

A fast driving driver was arrested after his driver’s license was suspended for failure to pay child allowance.

Belleview, 45, Timothy Banks was driving a white Chrysler 300 on US 301 in Oxford at around 6 p.m. Wednesday when he was traveling at 50 mph in a 40-mile zone, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

A check revealed that the New Yorker’s driver’s license had been suspended for failure to pay child benefit. Banks were arrested in Sumter County in 2010 for driving while their driver’s license was suspended.

He was arrested for a ban on driving while his driver’s license was suspended and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting a $ 1,000 bond.
