UPDATE: AUGUST 21st

The Elko County’s deputies were able to track down Dereck Rowley and track down both children. Both were found to be safe and in good health, according to the authorities.

The Carbon and Elko County’s sheriffs received hundreds of tips that eventually led to Rowley’s capture. He gave them the whereabouts of the boys and their mother.

MPs are investigating what happened between Rowley and the boys in the past three days.

PRICE, Utah – A suspect with two missing / kidnapped children may be traveling to Washington, Utah authorities say.

According to police, 33-year-old Derek Michael Rowley drives a gold Chevy Silverado with Washington license plate C66780T. The car also has a white fifth wheel trailer with Washington license number 51311AE.

Rowley is described as having a crown tattoo on the left side of his neck, a skull tattoo on his right hand, and tattoos along his left arm.

Rowley reportedly adopted 8-year-old Manson Rowley and 6-year-old Arson Mangum. The two children were last seen in pajamas.

The suspect is Manson Rowley’s father and is prohibited from having contact with the child due to a protection order from Washington.
