The police are looking for a woman who has kidnapped a baby

A kidnapped 4 month old boy was brought back to his mother last week, but Chesterfield police are still searching for the woman who allegedly took him to New York City without permission.

On March 28, police received a report that 53-year-old Danielle R. Hicklin had taken child Marcello A. Husband out of the state a few days earlier and had not returned.

Hicklin, from the 2800 block on Camberwell Road in Chesterfield, is known to the child’s mother and regularly babysits him.

Detectives received an arrest warrant for Hicklin for kidnapping after learning that she refused to bring Marcello back to Virginia.

Hicklin left the kid in Richmond with a third party last Friday. He was healthy and unharmed and was quickly reunited with his mother. Hicklin remained at large on Monday afternoon at the time the observer went to press.

The police are still searching for Hicklin’s whereabouts and are asking anyone with information to contact the Chesterfield County Police Department at 804-748-1251 or Crime Solvers at 748-0660 or through the P3 app.
