Officials said Coney does not have any parental rights to the child and he left driving a 2000 Dodge Durango.

The sheriff’s office and Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Levi’s Call, the state’s Amber Alert system.

The boy was eventually found safe overnight. Coney will face charges for the kidnapping.
