About the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a world leader in understanding, treating, and defeating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Its purpose is clear: to find a cure. Rescuing children. It is the only comprehensive cancer center designated by the National Cancer Institute and dedicated exclusively to children. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped increase overall childhood cancer survival rates from 20 percent to over 80 percent since the hospital opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies of cancer. St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. Families are never billed from St. Jude for treatment, travel, accommodation, or food – because a family should only care about helping their child with life.
