Adele settles divorce with Simon Konecki, will not pay youngster assist: Report

Adele and Simon Konecki finalized their divorce almost two years after the split.

According to several reports, the Grammy winner, 32, and Konecki, 46, waived their right to seek or receive assistance from their spouses. They also agreed to the joint legal and physical custody of their 8-year-old son Angelo.

The couple announced that after seven years together, they would go their separate ways in April 2019. They cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

“Adele and her partner have split up,” said a spokesman at the time. “They are determined to lovingly raise their son together. As always, they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

It seems that they stayed true to their word.

People said Adele and Konecki live across the street in Los Angeles as they raise their boy together amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“You are doing what is best for Angelo,” a source told the magazine. “Your son is your world.”

Adele has been linked to British rapper Skepta during her divorce.

“You run in the same circles in London and she’s having fun,” a source told People.
