15-year-old in custody for threatening teenagers with knife at Cedarburg’s Skateland: Officers
CEDARBURG – A 15-year-old is in custody after the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office alleged he threatened a group of teenagers with a knife on a roller skating rink in Cedarburg last Friday.
The Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that the Ozaukee County Circuit Court had a referral from a juvenile court investigating alleged violations of two Wisconsin laws: sexual assault of a 1st degree child and submission of a dangerous weapon 18 years.
On Friday, April 23, around 8:45 p.m., Sheriff MPs Skateland answered Dr. in the town of Cedarburg on the report of a person brandishing a knife at patrons.
An investigation there found that a 15-year-old boy from the village of Germantown had shown a group of teenagers a jackknife, the office said. The 15-year-old allegedly threatened this group of teenagers after exposing the knife.
During the incident, the 15-year-old boy was also involved in “unwanted touches from another person,” according to the office.
MEPs took the 15-year-old into custody and took him to a secure detention center, the bureau said in a statement. The investigation is still ongoing.
